Sponsorship Launch Addendum
Effective Date: [EFFECTIVE_DATE]
Version: v1.0
Sponsor: [SPONSOR_LEGAL_NAME]
Publisher: aisecurity.llc
Program: The State of AI Security Engineering 2026
Base Agreement: [SPONSORSHIP_AGREEMENT_NAME]
- Purpose
1.1 This Sponsorship Launch Addendum ("Addendum") supplements the Sponsorship Agreement and defines the launch timeline, deliverables, approval workflow, asset requirements, and campaign-specific acknowledgements for a sponsorship activation.
1.2 This Addendum is designed to keep the launch operationally simple and editorially separate: Sponsor gets the deliverables it paid for, and Publisher keeps control over research, tone, and publication decisions.
- Launch Scope
2.1 The launch may include the following sponsor-visible assets, if selected in the applicable Order Form:
- sponsor logo placement;
- sponsor acknowledgement copy;
- newsletter inclusion;
- report landing page presence;
- event or webinar acknowledgment;
- private briefing access; and
- approved outbound promotion using sponsor-supplied assets.
2.2 Any deliverable not expressly listed in the Order Form is out of scope.
- Asset Delivery
3.1 Sponsor will deliver final, approved assets by the dates specified in the launch calendar or the Order Form.
3.2 Unless otherwise stated, assets must be provided in production-ready format and may include:
- logo files in SVG, PNG, or EPS;
- approved company name and descriptive boilerplate;
- approved URL(s);
- brand guidelines, if applicable;
- speaker names and titles, if applicable; and
- any required legal or trademark notices.
3.3 Late delivery may result in omission of the affected placement without reducing the fees due for the sponsorship.
- Approval Workflow
4.1 Publisher will provide sponsor-facing placements for factual review only.
4.2 Sponsor may request corrections to its own legal name, trademark usage, logo treatment, and clearly factual sponsor copy.
4.3 Sponsor may not use the review process to require changes to research language, methodology, findings, or editorial conclusions.
4.4 If Sponsor fails to approve or respond within the review window, Publisher may proceed using the last-approved version or may omit the asset at Publisher's discretion.
- Disclosure and Labeling
5.1 Sponsor acknowledgements must remain neutral and must not imply endorsement, certification, validation, or audit by Publisher.
5.2 Acceptable label examples include:
- Sponsored by [SPONSOR_LEGAL_NAME]
- Sponsorship support provided by [SPONSOR_LEGAL_NAME]
- Sponsor: [SPONSOR_LEGAL_NAME]
5.3 Publisher may add a separate editorial-disclaimer line when needed to preserve sponsor independence and reader clarity.
- Editorial Independence
6.1 Sponsorship does not give Sponsor any right to approve, delay, suppress, or veto findings, charts, benchmarks, or conclusions.
6.2 Sponsor support does not influence the interpretation of job-description intelligence, public hiring signals, or other research inputs.
6.3 Sponsor may request factual corrections about Sponsor's own public materials only.
- Campaign Operations
7.1 Publisher will use commercially reasonable efforts to deliver the agreed launch package on the agreed schedule, provided Sponsor meets asset deadlines and review obligations.
7.2 Publisher may adjust placement timing or format to accommodate platform constraints, editorial scheduling, or publication mechanics, provided the core sponsorship value remains reasonably equivalent.
7.3 Any extended campaign asset, webinar, or live event element must be separately documented in a launch calendar or exhibit.
- Public Announcements
8.1 Neither party will issue a public announcement specific to this Addendum without the other party's prior written approval of the actual text.
8.2 Sponsor may disclose that it supported the Program using approved neutral language, but may not imply editorial control or research endorsement.
- Term and Survival
9.1 This Addendum begins on the Effective Date and continues until the campaign deliverables have been completed, unless earlier terminated under the Sponsorship Agreement.
9.2 Sections relating to confidentiality, no endorsement, payment, IP, and dispute resolution survive as stated in the Sponsorship Agreement.
