Academy LMS Package Addendum
LMS delivery rights, seat limits, SCORM 1.2 preview status, modification restrictions, branding, reporting, update obligations, and expiration for enterprise LMS deployments.
This Addendum governs the delivery, use, and update obligations for SCORM, xAPI, and LMS-ready Academy content packages. It supplements the Academy Enterprise Training Terms and the Order Form.
1. Package Contents
The Academy LMS Package includes, as specified in the Order Form:
- SCORM 1.2 preview package: course modules, quiz/checkpoint items, learner launch instructions, completion criteria
- LMS deployment guide: administrator setup, SCORM upload procedure, learner enrollment, reporting configuration
- Completion criteria definition: minimum completion conditions for each module
- Quiz and Q&A checkpoint keys: correct answers and scoring rubric for admin review
- Data handling summary: what learner data is tracked and how
- Certificate/completion wording: approved language for LMS-issued completion certificates
- Claim caveats: required text to accompany any external reference to Academy completion
2. SCORM and LMS Status
SCORM 1.2 preview package: Available. The preview package covers the Academy module content in SCORM 1.2 format and is compatible with standard LMS platforms (Cornerstone, Docebo, Canvas, Moodle, Workday Learning, and similar).
SCORM 2004: Available by implementation scope. Not included in the standard LMS Package. Contact commercial@aisecurity.llc to discuss.
xAPI (Tin Can): Available by implementation scope. Not included in the standard LMS Package.
LTI 1.3: Available by implementation scope. Not included in the standard LMS Package.
Customer is responsible for validating SCORM compatibility with their specific LMS configuration before deploying to a production learner population.
3. Permitted LMS Use
Customer may:
- Upload the SCORM package to one internal LMS environment
- Deliver the course content to learners within the seat count specified in the Order Form
- Issue LMS-generated completion certificates using the approved completion wording
- Configure LMS reporting for internal admin use
Customer may not:
- Distribute the SCORM package to third parties
- Exceed the seat count without purchasing additional seats
- Modify the course content or quiz items without a Content Modification Addendum
- Remove aisecurity.llc attribution from the package documentation (private-label rights require a separate addendum)
4. Branding
Standard LMS packages carry aisecurity.llc and Academy branding in the learner-facing content. Private-label or white-label delivery (partner branding; reduced or no aisecurity.llc attribution) is available by separate Academy Content License Addendum and minimum commitment.
5. Reporting
The SCORM package tracks standard SCORM completion data: completion status, pass/fail, score (where applicable), time spent. This data is stored within the customer's LMS and is not transmitted to aisecurity.llc unless the customer uses aisecurity.llc's hosted Academy platform for reporting.
Learner roster and completion exports in CSV/JSON format are available from the Academy admin dashboard for customers using hosted Academy access. LMS-native reporting is the customer's responsibility.
6. Content Updates
aisecurity.llc will deliver updated SCORM packages when major course content changes occur (typically once per year). Minor content fixes are included in updates; module restructuring may require a revised SCORM package. Customer is responsible for re-uploading updated packages to their LMS within 90 days of delivery.
7. Support
Standard support covers LMS deployment questions, SCORM technical issues, and content access during the License Term. Premium support for custom LMS integration work or advanced xAPI/LTI setup is available by uplift per the Support and SLA Addendum.
8. Expiration and Renewal
SCORM access rights expire at the end of the License Term. Customer must cease deploying the SCORM package and remove it from production LMS environments within 30 days of term expiration if the license is not renewed. Annual renewal includes updated SCORM packages.
This is a summary of key terms for planning and discussion. The executed Addendum and Order Form govern. This document does not constitute legal advice.
