PATH-05
Independent validators challenge evidence, ordering, consequence, and alternative explanations before a path is accepted.
governed lifecycle
The Attack Path Analysis Validation Pipeline formalizes a governed review process in which a candidate path is not accepted on assertion alone, but only after independent validators challenge its evidence, ordering, consequences, and alternative explanations. Each validation stage operates as a distinct control point: evidence is checked for sufficiency and provenance, sequence is tested for temporal and logical coherence, consequences are assessed for downstream impact, and an adversarial critic searches for plausible competing interpretations. When issues are found, a correction loop preserves the rejected alternative and routes the path back through review so that revisions remain traceable rather than overwritten. Validation controls ensure that validators stay independently reviewable, while only humans may set the analyst-validated state. The result is a lifecycle that favors defensible acceptance, explicit rejection, and durable auditability across all corrections and decisions.
