MS-02
A managed service becomes scalable when scope, evidence, decisions, remediation, retest, and renewal are handled as a repeatable lifecycle.
governed lifecycle
This governed lifecycle turns MSSP delivery into a repeatable assurance engine. Each engagement begins with customer onboarding, where scope and baseline are defined, access and context are validated, and the first evidence set is established. The service then moves through assessment and validation, where findings are prioritized, assigned, and tracked to remediation. Decision paths are explicit: critical issues are escalated, blocked work is marked by missing access or context, and deferrals require a clear rationale. Once fixes are implemented, retest and verification confirm whether improvement is real, residual risk is documented, and the customer receives a report grounded in evidence. The cycle closes with renewal or expansion, updating the next-cycle scope so assurance continues as an operational rhythm rather than a one-time event.
