Visual walkthrough of Discord in progress

Overview

The SecEng Trust Scanner for Discord brings product-security language review to developer communities, customer support servers, and internal security guilds. Bot commands and slash interactions make it frictionless to scan messages about AI features, vendor claims, or security announcements. Results arrive in the channel so the whole team can see and discuss the findings together.

Features

  1. 01.

    Slash command scanning

Use `/trustscan` in any channel to analyze text and receive a structured trust assessment without leaving the conversation.

  2. 02.

    Message-level analysis

Scan individual messages or thread replies to catch overblown AI claims before they spread through your community.

  3. 03.

    Public result posting

Optionally post scan results to the channel so the broader community can see what language was flagged and why.

  4. 04.

    JSON export for records

Export scan results as structured JSON for archival, evidence packages, or downstream automation pipelines.

Install steps

  1. Step 01

Add the Trust Scanner bot to your Discord server via the OAuth2 invite link from your developer portal.

  2. Step 02

Grant the required bot permissions (messages, slash commands) during installation.

  3. Step 03

Use `/trustscan <text>` or mention the bot in any channel to run a scan.

  4. Step 04

Results appear as a bot reply — use the export button to download JSON evidence.
