Overview
The SecEng Trust Scanner for Microsoft Word adds a task pane to the Word desktop and web experience for scanning document content, track-changes revisions, vendor agreements, and AI-generated policy drafts for trust-language risks. As an Office Add-in, it operates within the Word sandbox — no document content leaves your machine in local-mode scans. Security and legal teams get the review depth they need directly in the authoring environment.
Features
- 01.
Full document scanning
Analyze the entire Word document in a single scan pass, surfacing all flagged passages with risk scores.
- 02.
Track-changes review
Scan accepted and proposed changes separately to catch trust-language issues introduced during collaborative editing.
- 03.
Vendor agreement analysis
Review vendor contracts and agreements for AI capability claims or security assurances that need verification.
- 04.
Evidence export
Export structured scan results as JSON or Markdown to attach to your compliance record alongside the document.
- 05.
Rewrite suggestions
Receive alternative phrasing for flagged claims, ready to insert directly into the document via the task pane.
