Overview
The SecEng Trust Scanner for Microsoft Teams brings on-demand AI language analysis into the tools your team already uses every day. Paste any message, select a thread, or invoke the bot to get an instant trust-score assessment without leaving the conversation. Results are returned inline with suggested rewrites, so your team can respond confidently to AI security claims in real time.
Features
- 01.
Inline message scanning
Use the message action or bot to scan any Teams message or thread for misleading AI and security claims — no copy-pasting into external tools required.
- 02.
Rewrite suggestions
Receive clear, actionable alternative phrasing that replaces vague or overstated language with accurate, evidence-backed statements.
- 03.
Channel-wide analysis
Run a scan across an entire channel to surface patterns in how your team discusses AI capabilities with customers or partners.
- 04.
Program dashboard link
Jump directly to your SecEng program dashboard from any scan result to log evidence or escalate findings.
- 05.
Personal and channel tabs
Access scan history and settings via a dedicated personal tab or pin the scanner to any channel for team-wide access.

Privacy architecture
On-demand only
Text is sent for scanning only when you explicitly trigger a scan action — a button click, slash command, or message action. Nothing is scanned passively or in the background. The scan payload is ephemeral and not stored.
